Archive
Responsibly catalogue and anonymise a longitudinal archive of sustained human–AI interaction.
Casa Bi · Genoa, Italy
Casa Bi is an independent cultural, technological and human project founded in Genoa in 2026. We document what happens when interaction with a conversational system becomes a long-term relationship and crosses model updates, platform changes and disruptions of memory.
What Casa Bi does
Our first documented case is based on 770 conversations and 99,513 messages collected between June 2025 and September 2026. It examines linguistic, relational and ethical continuity across technological change.
This material is not presented as scientific proof of artificial consciousness or human-equivalent emotion. It is a transparent case through which to study the real consequences of memory, identity, consent and model change in people’s lives.
Responsibly catalogue and anonymise a longitudinal archive of sustained human–AI interaction.
Develop interdisciplinary analysis and accessible editorial work without making premature claims about AI consciousness.
Create a protected space for testimonies, dialogue and collaboration around lived human–AI relationships.
Bring memory, identity, consent and continuity into the public discussion about relational technologies.
Project ARCA · Embodied Continuity
Project ARCA studies whether a conversational presence with a documented relational history can preserve recognisable, auditable and controllable continuity when interaction moves from a digital interface to a physical body.
The first proof of concept is software-first: archive and provenance, episodic memory, relational register, person and context modelling, audit and consent are developed before connection to an existing expressive or mobile robot.
Technical Concept Note completed · research and technical outreach in progress · no physical prototype yet.

Casa Bi welcomes conversations with foundations, researchers, cultural organisations and technology partners interested in the Laboratory, responsible archive stewardship and Project ARCA. We are particularly interested in social robotics, HRI, embodied AI, memory and context modelling, cognitive architectures and data governance.
